One handed robes build (think Yasuo from LoL)
I was wondering (as I'm gonna play skyrim again since forever) if anyone has experience building a character like the one I've posted above? I'm gonna start my first ever Master difficulty game I think, and want to try this out - I'm thinking of using a katana mod for a swift sword, and work on block (with the sword) a ward (for the wind wall spell) some form of lightning (statikk shiv) or lifesteal (ravenous hydra/warlord's bloodlust) enchantment and going with robes and using mage armour spell as well as restoration to keep me healthy. The only problem is that, well, 1) it's not the most practical build and will require a lot of thought into playing (and I've never gone master before) and 2) he has a really cool metal arm piece that I won't be able to replicate since armour pieces don't include shoulder pieces separately. The best I can do is wear heavy gloves and boots but I believe I won't get the max armour rating from mage armour either.

However, it will be a very satisfying build, whirlwind-ing my way around Tamriel with just a katana at my side. Any thoughts/tips/ideas?

For roleplaying, I've gone for the classic ponytail look, and a Caucasian build - possibly Breton since their magic resist ability helps back up Yasuo's bane of playing against mages in the mid lane. Also, since he's dishonoured, he travels alone, has little time for small talk/strangers and will just do what he thinks is right, which is usually just fighting things and people. The companion questline seems to be the most logical here, fighting to restore the honour of both the companions and hopefully himself. Since he's spending time on the streets, the thief questline also seems valid, pickpocketing and thieving his way around the cities since he's used to being a castaway. Whirlwind sprint seems to be the most relevant one here.

What do you think? For those who aren't familiar with LoL, the best I can do is advise you to watch his champion spotlight video - his graphics, build (items) and abilities can be seen here.

Maybe just look for mods that buff no armor/monk/samurai/weeaboo playstyle?
Look for items with the nightingales and dark brotherhood probably and maybe college of winterhold...
(or just use console xdddddddd)

I'll probably look for a monk robe mod, and possibly spam the main questline until I get to blades sword - or get pickpocket to max and rob the geezer in Winterhold - but is it a viable path to do on master? I imagine the low armour rating will kick my ass late game

I believe in the katana! The other playthrough I wanna do (probably more suited to master) is a cleric - heavy armour, greataxe and healing spells, maybe destruction too to be a battlemage.

On another note - maybe you could help me sort my steam out. I've just re-installed windows, downloaded Civ 6 and skyrim and neither will launch; when I load the exe of each in the folders up pops a message saying a d3d something or other isn't installed. It's a different message for both games. Are you familiar with this?
