Keeping the jagged crown ?

I sided with the stormcloaks at helgen but now I'm further into the game I want to join the legion but I read that to keep the crown you have to side with the faction you originally sided with at helgen :/

Is there any way around this to still keep the crown ?

Ok so I joined the stormcloaks and gave the crown to ralof but then turned the quest into tullius but now ralof isn't at riverwood to get the crown back.

Any help please ?

I didn't know keeping the crown was an option unless you bailed on the quest. I was a Stormcloack from the start, and gave the crown straight to Ulfirc. I don't see anything about keeping in on the UESP except for just not giving it to anyone.

The only way I can think of to get the crown back is to hope that whomever you gave it to has it in their inventory to swipe. You can apparently switch sides by giving the crown to Tulius, and maybe you can swipe it off him.

Yeah you can keep it if you side with the faction you started with and reverse pickpocket the crown to either hadvar or ralof, turn the quest in then pickpocket it back. I just didn't know about the siding with part :/

tip on keeping it put it in the person you left helgan with while still in the dungion where you got it then go to ulfrick and give to him even though it not in you pocket to give it make the game think you have it o need pick pocket 100 to do the glitch fo info on this youtube it and enjoy you crown also their is a mod for red jaged crown witch i have and it nicer also you can craft the same as the one in game also but this is a mod to the red and black one one you doing would be a glitch
