Hearthfire wings?
I am starting work on my house and was wondering if your house can get an alchemy lab and enchanter table without building the enchanters or alchemy tower wing ?

And other than personal choice do any wings offer anything very unique ? :)

I'm not sure about the alchemy lab without an alchemy wing, but I do know that at Lakeview Manor, one of the furnishing options for the main hall is an enchanter's table.

Those wings are redundant because you already get those in the main house. The cellar is a good armory so you dont need that wing either. There is a cooking area already in the main hall, but there really is nothing else to put in the East wing but a kitchen. The library is sort of nifty, but it still isnt big enough to hold all the books in the game.

North wing can be a trophy room, which is sort of cool, or a storage room if you really want to micromanage your stored goods.

Unless you intend to use the home for your family, the West wing is a good greenhouse.

Thank you for the detailed reply, it was very helpful :)

You can build the enchanters table and alchemy table as stand alone items in the 2nd larger room, the first table downstairs, the 2nd upstairs. Btw, you pretty well have to build every room, abd build items in those rooms. You will need lots of logs, fashion lots of nails etc, fashion at anvil. Use the time fashioning items to build your blacksmithing up, even if you have to redo from Legendary. For wings I prefer kitchen, greenhouse, and the other I use as an alchemystorage room.

Thank you. I will start saving gold for materials then. And yeah so far I'm leaning towards greenhouse and kitchen, and maybe trophy room.

I can confirm this, I have done it in my second and third hearthfire homes.
I put a armour table and a grindstone outside, and use the anvil by the drafting tables to craft stuff, as well, so no need for bblacksmithing stations inside the house either.
