Do the children of the dragonborn become dragonborn?
Question in title.
I'm bugged, please answer this very important question

!IF DRAGONBORNS COULD GET BIOLOGICAL CHILDREN!

Do they inherit the voice of the dragons?
Do they inherit your dragonborn blood?

Geneticly speaking, it would make sense that the dragonborn would pass down the genes of dragonblood to their children... probably 50/50, in my opinion. Based on my knowledge of genetics.

I think there are hints of it throughout the lore. There were a line of Dragonborn Emperors that died out during the Oblivion Crisis. I think Martin Septim was the last of that line, so yeah it must be genetic, and then training brings it out as stronger and stronger.

thank.
Saddly you cant find out, as you cant have your own child. Its a shame, i would like to know how would it look like.

They could possibly generate it from facial features of parrents, like they did in Fo4 with The Father

Being Dragonborn isn't a biological thing that has anything to do with genetics. The Last Dragonborn's soul is the same as a regular dragon soul, which in turn are fragments of Akatosh's being. As far as I know, that doesn't sound like something that can just be inherited should they ever have a kid.

The only member of the Septims to be confirmed as Dragonborn was Tiber Septim before he became Talos, and possibly Saint Alessia, though Alessia's connection to the Septims can be disputed against.

Has much more to do with magic and less to do with the science of genetics.

Could be a combination of both. Similar to the whole "Seventh son of a seventh son" type thing, more like a family curse...
Only the Septim Line passed down the Dragonborn mantle, all other Dragonborn did not have Dragonborn children. Several Dynasties had Dragonborn in them, but the mantle of Dragonborn skipped generations, and eventually just skipped out completely.

I prefer the idea of it being more like a Green Lantern thing. The world's in danger and Akatosh is like "Not on my watch! We need a Dragonborn...Lesse here...Ummmm...Been doing a lot of humans lately, something different this time. Argonian? Yeah, kinda feels like an argonian day."
And Bam! Some poor Argonian schmuck has to trudge out into the snow and save the Nords.

Despite the game being set in Skyrim, Dragonborn were not constrained to go there, Reman Emperors who included several Dragonborn never went further north than Cyrodiil.

But I do like the idea of Akatosh balancing the Dragonborns throughout the races.
Well, a Dragonborn is a person BORN with dragon blood.

So technically, the Dragonborns child should inherit the dragon blood.
But the Dragonborn (The player) got the dragon blood without being a dragonborns child. So there is also magic, prophecies and destinies involved
