[Forgotten City spoilers] Getting Rykas' Armor
I don't usually like to ask for help with puzzles but I'm at my wits' end with this one and want to make sure I'm not wasting my time. I've got every piece of the immaculate dwarven armor except for the chest, which obviously belongs to Rykas. However I can't figure out how to get it from him. Am I just out of luck without being able to pass the speech checks?

The only thing I could think of that might have worked would have been to report him to Metellus as the likely traitor, and maybe Metellus would have him taken to the locked room to be killed? But I can't even try that to see if it works because I already accused Metellus himself of using the locked room so he won't talk to me anymore.

Yes, but how? If I do that it triggers armageddon I assume.

it turns the sky to nightime in mine even during the day the sky was black. I no longer use it. An old mod if you play the old version is the Rabbit Hole much more fun also.

The sky? Everything's underground. Killing anybody outside of the locked room causes the Dwarven Centurions to turn hostile I believe; at least that's what happened when I tested it out at the very beginning of the story (I reloaded a save after that, was just curious).

if you coc on the console back to Rivwewood after getting stuck in the forgotten city the sky for me never turns to daylight again.

Yes, but how?

Like a proper Klingon.

But seriously, that's the only way to get the armor.

Absolutely brilliant mod! Everything worked perfectly for me. Was quite a while ago when I played thru it. However you don't need to get everything in the first attempt ... you will need to learn what's in the past to prepare for the future.
I loved that it gave you choices for how you will react.

i came to do the quest, found the gay guy and got caught pick pocketing. Everyone was then murdered and i got sent back. The guy wasn't there so i had to spawn him in the command console and we both thought i killed the mayor. then we escaped. wtf

You have to kill him, loot his body, then return through the time portal to reset everything.

Clockwork is a better dwemer-themed mod though.
