Horrible Issues with any kind of large texture mod or the High Res DLC.
So here is my problem. Despite the fact that my computer can perfectly run the game with 2k-4k textures covering almost every object in the game, it seemingly "doesn't like to". Whenever I use big retexture mods (Say, Noble Skyrim or Tamriel Reloaded) or I use the High Resolution Texture Pack DLC, my game freaks out in a lot of areas.

It mostly happens dense areas like the major cities or large forests, but I get a bug that I can only really describe as a "two-frame half-freeze", where my game will constantly pick two different frames that are right next to eachother, and rapidly switch between only those frames. I call it a half freeze because the game still functions behind the bug. Tabbing out and tabbing back in tends to fix it, but only for a few seconds. Sometimes, the bug never happens and I can walk around the cities just fine, but when it does happen, it's absolutely crippling.

This only occurs when using mods that overhaul the textures of buildings and landscapes, including the High Res DLC. I've been digging for weeks trying to find a solution to this, but it seems no one else has had this issue. If anyone can assist me in resolving this, that would be fantastic.

System specs and mod order are generally helpful for issues like this.
Yeah you really should post your system specs and mod load order if you want help with this kind of problem.
What would be the most effiecient way to day that? Is there some sort of "drop down spoiler function" for steam forums, or do I just put a big list on the original post?
I do use Loot.

That's not exactly my problem.
In that case, I have absoluletly no idea what you mean by "frames". Perhaps if you took some screenshots demonstrating the issue?

Like, framerate frames. Still images of the entire screen. I couldn't taake a screenshot, because it would only register one of the two frames.
Which is why I suggested "screenshots", but ok. You're saying that the display toggles between a newer frame and an older frame, when it should always be progressing to newer frames?

Are you currently using any sort of ENB?

That is exactly what I'm saying. Also, I have never used an ENB before.
In that case, I suggest setting up ENBoost. Other presets aim to make the game "prettier", but this one only gives you the performance benefits of the ENB series. One of the main issues it solves is the game's weird behaviour of mirroring all textures between your system and video memory - cutting that out is pretty much a "must" for any large texture pack users.

I've tried to install ENBoost according to the instructions. It was a royal pain in the arse that led to roughly nothing being actually installed.
why are you using the texture DLC's, when using other texture mods ?,use the SKSE memory patch, sounds like your using too much VRAM. Did you follow the readme for using ENB's with Tamriel Reloaded ? those micro stutters are usually a sign of an overloaded game

The High Res DLC was more of a last resort than anything else, considering I was having this issue with the larger texture overhauls. Also, as said earlier, I have never used an ENB.
