Serena not holding as much as she use to

I use to be able to give her weight equivalent of 10 bones AND scales at once, not she can't hold ♥♥♥♥ and I don't understand why. All she has is some low weight heavy armor (two of the pieces giver her a total of 70 extra carry weight) a mask, a dagger, and a few types of arrows (which weight nothing assuming the game isn't lying about arrow weight). someone pelase help.

I ran into this once, might not be the same solution, but i had given her an ebony helmet. She could keep it but no more than what she had. Drop anything, she couldn't pick it up, or have it given to her. Drop it and everything wass back to noemal.

Sometimes when Serana wears her hood outdoors, the game creates a new copy of the hood for her to wear, which will eventually fill up her inventory with a number of identical hoods.

• This bug is fixed by version 1.2.2 of the Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.
  
• You can temporarily fix this using the console: clicking on Serana, and then typing showinventory and look for an item called Serana Hood. The number of hoods she has will be shown on the console and using removeitem xx00E6A0 #, where xx is the code for the Dawnguard DLC (probably 02 or 03, and is shown by the returned results of showinventory) and # is the number of hoods she has, should be able to get rid of the extra hoods. Unfortunately, the game will start adding new hoods after that, necessitating using this fix again.

You may realize she has no problem carrying as many Blood Potions as she can, but until she cures herself and becomes the "ole ball and chain" equivalent, she won't carry much . Don't get me wrong, she'll carry for you but it won't be as much as you want. Lydia only whines louder....lol

Have you looked at her inventory in the follower trading screen. I know when she's following me at times, to do something she will stop and chop wood ... which in no time may overload her.
