Rip off inn

Paid the slag for a room, go to the only room in the inn, 'press E' to sleep, bed is 'owned, cannot sleep in an owned bed GO BACK TO THE ♥♥♥♥♥, try to book a room, she says am I joking i already booked a room, go back TO THE ONLY ROOM IN THE INN, try to sleep, same again, I'M A THIEF AND I'VE BEEN ROBBED BY ANOTHER THIEF, what do I doo to get some ♥♥♥♥ing rest in this godforsaken game???

Also the slag thief ♥♥♥♥♥ folows me around like she's in season or something, maybe I should crack her in the jaw and bend her over the bar give her a proper seeing to while simultaneously stealing some goats cheese, jeez this game is bizarre

Umm... which inn, and where? Usually they lead you to the room you're able to rest in after you paid them. If the bed is "owned" then that's not the one you're renting out.

the first inn in the village where you learn about making daggers and leather strips I paid her she just stood there and led me nowhere so I went to THE ONLY ROOM IN THE INN and as described above failed to get some sleep ran ALLAROUND THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE INN to check no more rooms and there was no more rooms, everytime i tried it same thing, bed is 'OWNED' i paid her the gold is gone so I try to take some goats cheese instead, because who in their right mind is going to accept being ripped off like that but they called me a thief the slag pulled a knife her hsuband joins in, the locals join in and I end up wasting the whole village including dog and chickens simple because there is a bug with the inn/bed/gold/rest deal.

It's not real! You didn't really get ripped off lol. There will be a bed in the inn you can sleep in. I doubt you looked very hard, in fact creating this thread would have took you longer than finding the correct bed. An amusing rant none the less. Cheers

If you're referring to the inn at Riverwood, there is more than one room there. You just didn't look hard enough.

How many beds did you actually check. From memory there's a double bed in one room and a couple of single beds on the other side (door side) of the inn.

I thought I'd check it out for you. There are 3 single beds in total one in each of the three separate rooms. I'm guessing you didn't open the doors to see the beds inside. Anyway the bed in the inn nearest the inn's entrance is the bed you are able to sleep in, just remember to open the door first.

Wow, you seriously need to improve your exploration skills. There are three bedrooms in that inn. From the UESP:

"Sleeping Giant Inn

There are three doorways leading to bedrooms, two on the northwest side and a larger one on the southeast side.

The two smaller bedrooms are opposite the larger bedroom. The left-hand bedroom is the room you will be shown to if renting a room for the night and contains a single owned bed in the western corner with an unlocked chest and wardrobe at the foot of the bed and a small round wooden table and chair beside the bed."

That tells me that you were trying to sleep in her bed, not the one you rented. She'll follow you around if you enter that room, for reasons that will be made clear later on. The room you want is on the opposite side of the inn.

About the bendover slapping Things, that will not work.
She is essential, so you will have trouble whit that, and there will come some guards to. And other quest giving NPC:s.
And as others says, dont try to sleep in her bed.

OK, i guess I need to look harder for those doors, really strange that I didn't find them before, maybe because it was night time or something they didn't show up so well, will try again, I like the game but i'm not enjoying killing everyone because they get the wrong idea and overreact and there's no way to reason with them if she just said 'your rooms that way please pay for the goats cheese or put it back' perhaps so many innocents wouldn't have had to die so violently and needlessly.

The doors show up no differently wether it's day or night. I agree that the game mechanics for stealing goat cheese is the same for attacking someone should have been tweaked by the develpers. Kind of reminds me of my travels in Africa, someone shouts thief and everyone attacks the accused.
