When talking with NPC sometimes remains open mouth
How to fix this bug ?
The mouth simply remains open after the dialogue, I do not use any mods for the animation

It happens if you skip dialogue and go into a merchant screen sometimes. Don't think there's a fix.

NPC opens his mouth just when you approach him

Have you checked your skyrim files?
Right click skyrim in your library select properties, Local Verify cache ... let it work. One file will always fail to load. If you have more then that, then that may solve your issue.

Make sure that those files get updated before you try again. Also I'd load a previous save before you discovered this issue... and delete any saves with it.

are you running a dialogue mod ? eg Relationship Dialogue Overhaul ? at the risk of incurring wrath from other users this bug is usually associated with Sexlab and it's addons

I know this thread is old but have you found a way to fix this issue? I'm experiencing this on Skyrim Special Edition
