Failed to initialize renderer (SOLVED)

"Your display doesn't support the selected resolution. Please set a different resolution in Skyrim's Launcher under 'Display Settings'."

I have restarted my computer, reset it, uninstalled it, got rid of all the mods, reinstalled all the mods, etc. I tried everything! I really need help.

It's not related to mods.

Do you have multiple display cards, or are you using a laptop?

Have you actually checked your display config using the Skyrim launcher?

I am using a laptop, but a couple of days ago, Skyrim was working fine. I only have 1 display card, and my display setting is Low.

I am having issues opening the game as well. I did what that IIja's master files discussion and it still says the same thing. I don't know what else to do.

Not sure if your still having the issue, I can't get mine to run full screen now matter what resolutions i use, so i run it in 1920x1080 windowed and use borderless gaming to put it full screen

I figured it out, I changed my resolution on my desktop option for my laptop.

I just had this issue after installing CAM to monitor my computer. I enabled the FPS add-on they have that would add some information to the screen while playing a game as an overlay. Skyrim stopped loading and threw this renderer error. Uninstalled CAM, Skyrim worked again.
