Was original Skyrim take off of steam?
I was looking for the original skyrim so I can download the bundle with all the add-ons, not the legendary edition because I heard the mod support for it is wierd. I can't seem to find it on steam though, is anyone else having this problem?

It is there, it just isn't showing up in searches for some reason. Skyrim with all 3 dlc is the same thing as the Legendary Edition by the way. The mod support is the same.

Legendary Edition is normal skyrim with all DLC, there is no difference between the two games but here is the store page for Skyrim http://store.steampowered.com/app/72850/The_Elder_Scrolls_V_Skyrim/

So you can still use the same workshop and nexus mods for it? I heard that the legendary edition had problems with that.

If the game's store page isn't showing up in searches, how are you finding it?

There is no difference between the Legendary Edition and the original game with all of the DLCs. Ir was just a name used to describe the full bundle. So mods aren't going to work differently with it at all.

You're thinking of the recently remastered version, Skyrim Special Edition. Special Edition is the one that can't use the same mods. Legendary Edition is basically a GOTY version, it's the same but comes with all the DLC

Ahh okay, thanks for the clarification
What exactly is your issue? Many of us, me included, don't play Special Edition because we've played Standard/Legendary Edition of Skyrim and have a lot of mods already, but if you've never played Skyrim before then you won't be losing any mods. Special Edition can't use mods from Standard Skyrim, but it has a lot of mods for itself already. Not as much as Standard, but the overall stability of it is appealing. So when you heard mod support is weird on Special Edition, it doesn't mean Special Edition doesn't have any mods.

So basically to shorten all that, Special Edition does have mod support and is more stable, but Standard has more and better mods, though less stable. Special Edition also has better visuals supposedly, but that's fixable with mods if you play Standard anyway

There are some mods that Have not been changed in a while, or are issued to those owners of Skyrim that have not bought all, or any of the DLC. In those cases, the original creator may have made 4 versions for of the same mod. Reading the mod creators comments will probably clear any misconception, and a lot of serious modders bundle the mods, then list the versions within the mod, but with the options in sequence.

Looks like the bundle is indeed removed. So if you want to get Skyrim and its DLC's, better wait for a good sale.

Yeah, that was my biggest concern, I dunno why they'd do that

Simple, they are pushing the Special Edition so they removed the Legendary Edition and hid the original from searches to make it harder to find.

That's a bummer, you think if we complain enough they'll fix it?
