Arrows Mod?
Is there a mod that highlights arrows that you can pick up? It's kinda annoying searching for arrows that you missed.

I actually had that in the all in one Jaxonz mod, but I turned off the humming after a while becuase a bunch of them in the same spot stuck slightly under ground is really loud and annoying when you can't get to the tip where you can recover the arrows.

But... you can have them glowing in flight too, which was cool
You can turn off the hum in the MCM menu
I turned it off after getting annoyed by the really loud humming of several arrows stuck slightly underground where I can't reach, but after a while, I ended up with more arrows than I could possibly shoot from crafting so... I stopped using that mod.

Arrow crafting was pretty nice from having to find and save all the common arrows I'd use. Lets me save the better ones for when I really need it, since I mostly end up hunting wild animals for meat and skins, I just take iron or steel or tons of forsword arrows, even draugr arrows until I'm out.

I don't need to 1 shot every enemy, They just need to not find me so I can continue using the sneak attack bonuses.

For myself, I never used it - never run short of arrows when playing!

Yeah I mean whats so hard about crafting them daedric arrows, it's not like daedra hearts are hard to come by right? I know alchemists carry like 50 of them. Oh what was I thinking, hey at least ebony ingots and daedra hearts dont cost like 600-1000 gold. Id need at least 5 of each to make 100 arrows and boy do I need a lot of them arrows since I play on legendary, it's not like I need 10k+ gold or anything. I guess its easy to make gold when the merchants only have 600 gold in their inventory and selling one banish dagger over and over, reloading, trying to get speech at lvl 70 or 100 so I can give them more money or sell the daggers to any npc. Maaan I guess I just can't mitigate all that with picking up arrows that I failed to hit, I guess whats the point of being efficient with your limited arrows right?

You know whats a waste of time? Trying to gather the materials, wasting gold trying to craft the arrows when I coulda saved a bunch of them as they keep adding up. I bet you don't even believe in discounts or saving money, you just love to waste dont you? I asked for a mod, not your opinion.

The game is not that difficult that you need to obsess over maxing everything out. If you don't have Daedra arrows, then use something else instead. You'll still be able to defeat your enemies regardless. As for wasting gold, it's ridiculously easy to be filthy rich in this game. That is not an obstacle at all.

And if you don't want anyone's opinion, then don't post on a public forum.

there is a particular guard in solitude who always shoots arrows at a target. if you're really careful, you can remove his crappy iron arrows and add whatever arrow you wish to his inventory while he's sleeping. i bet he appreciates the arrow upgrade. he'll practice shooting at a target with it all day, and you can just pick them up when he's done shooting, he doenst mind.

That's a nice trick.

and "not cheating" in my opinion. you're "giving" him arrows, which he willingly makes more of and shoots :)

Well considering you want to be a douche about what I asked for. I really hate asking a question and then getting an answer unrelated to what I asked. Considering I'm playing on legendary every bit of damage I can get is good, you know why? one shotting with sneak attack. Every bit of damage adds up in a long fight and makes things faster. Every arrow saved is eventually one less trip I have to go make iron daggers, enchant them, and reload sell them. Your way takes more effort for no reason and its annoying to waste like 30+ minutes trying to craft arrows.

Is it important to do it while he sleeps? I've read about this somewhere but I always though it was while the guard was shooting.

its easier tp reverse pickpocket if they's not aware of it, so sleeping they're definitely not awake and watching you.
