Known Issues And Fixes
When in doubt, and even before reading whatever is written here. Right click, properties, local files, verify file integrity. Check again if the game works as normal. And if not, please continue :)

I bought the game in alpha/beta, I upgraded and it doesn't launch anymore

Please, delete all the mods, uninstall the game fully, and reinstall it. Steam ain't very good at keeping track of files the game deleted in newer updates. There's nothing I can do about it. Delete all the things, re-install, and the problem will fix itself.

The game looks weird / crash on my 4K monitor

It seems that ATC has some difficulties guessing proper graphical settings when running in ultra high resolutions. Going to the graphical settings and fiddling around a bit resolved this issue for everyone.

- In borderless and fullscreen mode, make sure that the game's resolution matches your desktop's
- Tweak the "UI Scale" settings to get something that looks ok for you.

The game is laggy when it's raining

For some reason, the background audio files for the rain seem to cause issues on some rare PC configs, the issue is actively being investigated.

In the meantime, you can fix this issue by going into the Settings > Audio and check the option called Disable Rain SFX during bad weather. This will fix the issue. Make sure to check this option either when launching the game or when it's NOT already raining.

The user interface looks weird / is too large / goes off screen.

It's a rare issue, but it's easy enough to fix. The "quick fix" depends on your monitor/graphic card, but the version that will work in all cases is to do as follow:

- Go in the game’s graphical settings. Make sure the rendering is set to Fullscreen and that the resolution is set to the highest supported by your monitor. When done, press the big, green “Apply” Button.
- CLOSE AND RESTART the game
- Go in the game’s general settings, User Interface, and make SURE that User Interface Scale is set to Auto, then press the “default” button. Then press the big, green, “Apply” button.

Then try to play the game. If and ONLY IF it doesn’t work: Go in the graphical settings again. Set the rendering to Borderless. Press the Apply Button. Close & Restart the game, try to play a game.

The game doesn't launch at all

ATC is a 64bit game and require at least 4GB or RAM. It's a hard requirement.

Also make sure you have the .NET Framework installed and running. The minimal compatible version of .NET is 4.7.2.

And of course, make sure you have an up to date version of Windows 7, including service packs. Windows XP is not officially supported.
