Step 5 Go back Main Menu them press ALT+Enter keys to enter exclusive fullscreen mode.
Step 6 Unplug USB aubio headsets.

If done right you should be lag free other then frame rate lag. Low game setting to fix that if you have that issuse.

Doesn't work for me.

As provided, didn't work for me either. However, the remark about unplugging USB headphones gave me an idea. I have a Gigabyte K8100 keyboard (yes, I know, not a terribly good keyboard). Unplugging *that* fixed the problem. Since I have a USB gamepad, I will use that to play the game.

The mouse I have - an Alienware AW558 - does not need to be unplugged, only the keyboard. I have not (yet) tried other USB keyboards.

So, bottom line, try unplugging various USB peripherals to see if that makes a different.

To add: the other settings are not necessary, for me at least.

:steamfacepalm: I cant believe this worked.
Game was completely unplayable for me with micro freezes every 1-2 seconds, even during the intro movie.
Just unplugged my keyboard and suddenly it works fine.
What a total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of a port.

Thank you.

Can confirm. Unplugging BOTH my razer usb mouse and keyboard fixes the issue.
Maybe it's linked to the non-standard usb polling rate (and shoddy PC port).

Worth noting that these peripherals are both on the USB2 controller. I have usb sound card, webcam and gamepad on the USB3 controller yet they don't affect the game.

I think your right on that usb polling is cause major problems.

This how the game works with headset and ps4 controller plug up by wire.

This how the game works with no USB devices plug in and use my ps4 controller via bluetrooth.

The difference is like day in night the game still runs poorly nothing really do help that it just bad port. Better then be nearly unplayable with with drops below 12fps every time action in combat that hard on eyes.

To add insult to injury I think I hit another bug, it crashed when entering the first dungeon. I smell the Bitdefender issue that made me refund Fairy Fencer F. I'm done with this ♥♥♥♥.

I updated my Nvidia GPU drivers to fix this problem. I can't guarantee it will solve everybody's issues but it solved mine

For me it still stutters when enemies loads on the map. :(

Unplugging me keyboard and headset fixed the stuttering, thank you.

haven't tried this but I just set high dpi scaling to application and disable fullscreen optimizations and run as administrator and I have a playable improvement, if this goes bad i'll try this
