Any other Interactive Fiction game on Steam?
Can anyone suggest me some other text-based adventures (not multiple choices gamebook-like games) on Steam? Are there any?

I haven't kept up with text adventures much in recent years, but I did quite enjoy Hadean Lands.

Seconding Hadean Lands, I loved it.

Ian Finley's excellent The Shadow in the Cathedral is on Greenligt, and also already avaliable on itch.io.

I really enjoyed Code 7 but it has a modern approach

But yeah I think Hadean Lands and Thaumistry are the good classical ones

There are a few more Parser games:
Mainland

PataNoir

The first Story of Stories Untold ;)

Lifestream, Shady Brook and The Filmmaker by Storycentric Worlds are also on steam

Thaumistry is awesome funny parser IF, just like this. Stories Untold is cool as well, but not quite as well written. Interesting concept though.

Just swinging by to add that of the ones listed so far, Shadow in the Cathedral is a fun, breezy introduction to the genre, while Hadean Lands is significantly more complex (and less plot-y) but just magnificently clever. So depending on your level of experience and interest, I'd definitely check out one or the other.

Don't necessarily need to get 'em off Steam. TONS of them are available for free. Many can be played online, otherwise you'll need an interpreter. Gargoyle is where it's at for that.
Get 'em here.

Just today I released my interactive fiction collection app Gamebook. taplink.cc/questgamebook
I think IF has huge potential and big future. Just as books never went out of market, IF never will too if we keep it interesting.

Arguably DIsco Elysium is the pre-eminent interactive fiction game available on Steam :)

Can’t argue with a million words of text!

Cryptozookeeper is an award winner that, unusually, was released on Steam:
