As you play the game, you earn XP and Baller Bucks by playing well (ie, scoring points, blocking shots, stealing the ball, etc). XP levels your players up, which increases their stats (there are also challenges you can accomplish for extra stat boosts). Baller bucks are used to buy card packs. This is fairly similar to playgrounds 1.
There are also Gold Bucks, which are used to buy swag packs, which contain outfits and such that players can wear. These have to be bought with real money, but they appear to be purely cosmetic.
cosmetic is ok for me i think about it^^
No Pay2Win!!!!
Same with me. Had one great game with about 1300 bucks. Dont know what his problem is.....
There are over 400 players in the game. I would like a decent base of players to pick from but to even get to 25% of that would take a huge amount of time grinding. At the begining it is easy to unlock players but you soon hit a wall unless you put in some serious hours in to this game. I don't have a problem with grinding but the baller bucks gained to time played ratio is so far skewed that it is constantly pushing you towards purchasing the unlockl all option. I get early on when you complete the challenges you get bonuses but again these soon run dry. You will hit a wall when you get to around 50 - 60 players unlocked. Have a read of this review, this guy sums up most of the gripes I have with this game.

Edit: Also on Steam / PC the player base is incredibly small. There are currently 83 people playing this game right now worldwide with a peak today of 141. For some people online will hold no interest but for the many this type of game is best played either locally / online with a friend or online competitvely with other real players. I don't think the PC players will get this as we saw with NBA Playgrounds 1.
I dont get it....why do you need every player right away? The first packs I opened I got a decent bunch of players, xp seems pretty easy to farm. 50-60 players isn't enough? You can only use two at a time on a court.
As for the player base being low its not even been 24 hours since release, its only a tues afternoon, it released on a monday night....maybe give it a week or so before you start crying. Bashing the game and linking some reviews from someone nobody knows named Janet isn't helping recruit more players. How about you put some time in the game first?
As for the player base, this game is pretty much dead on arrival. The original NBA playgrounds launched on a Tuesday as well and the peak players for that game was 667 and that was on launch day. One month on from that it lost 90% of its player base and went down to a peak of 154 players, which is still more than this game on launch day. I'm willing to bet that in a months time there will be less than 100 players playing this game. In my opinion the way they have implemented the "grind" and business model in this game is horrible and also the lack of marketing has contributed to it's demise.
