Cannot play/connect

When I launch the game I'm stuck on
"Connecting" with the following error:

the server's aren't down. Some people can still play

The error message "evaluationmodeplayercountexceeded", that is showing before the connection shuts down, hints towards the fact, that the game server is running on a trial version, and that the capacity of that version has been surpassed.

I assume, preexisting players can still play on their accounts, but there's no way in for anyone new.

I get those screens/messages and then 'YOU ARE DISCONNECTED!'. Huh?

I myself got the message "unknown error". I changed computer, and now I have this message every time I try to launch the game. I cannot play the game. I really don't understand what is happening, if someone can help me, that would be really great.

I am going to say this, I myself have gotten this error repeatedly but just closing the game and reopening it has fixed it.
