Is there a Save option?

I seem to be stuck on the first level and I am a little tired of ending up at the very beginning every time I leave the game. Is there a SAVE option within the game? It seems as if it would really be helpful.

No Save option, the game don't require any. If you are stuck go back to the previous area and look carefully around, maybe you forgot a detail!

How to go back to the previous area?

Elaine, I didn't find the suggestion to go back particularly helpful. I think it means, merely, to move back around the area you are in and click on everything, etc. I sort of gave up on the game, not finding anything new and not wanting to click every pixel, etc.
