Several Issues with this game

So for starters, the second carriage tech unlock doesn't work. And the game will not tell me why. I can't seem to expand the floor around the station in order to expand out the station either. In case it needs more room or something.

Also even though I have a liter picker walking around, they won't empty out my bins and I have no clue why.

Also it doesn't seem balanced that a train can only hold four people when you get upwards of twenty per day leading to lost of rep.

Overall I'm kinda fed up with this game and how basic things just don't work. It seems to be overall not enjoyable in the slightest.

Longer trains require longer platforms. Overall you need 5 tiles per carriage, + 3 tiles clearance, so
8 tiles long for 1 carriage
13 tile long for 2 carriage
18 for 3, etc
You can lengthen (or shorten) the station by clicking and dragging the tunnel.

When bins fill up staff empty them into wheelie bins which are place-able in a Utility room (grey room that also takes generators) Without wheelie bins, there is nowhere for them to empty the bins to.

train carriages hold 4 people, until you unlock stock 2 (5 passengers) and stock 3, (6 passengers)

Apologies you're having trouble. I can suggest running through the tutorials again which cover both carriages and length, and as mentioned above, you need wheelie bins to empty trash.

There is a bit of learning curve, but honestly when you get into it a bit you figure it out and enjoy it more for the depth there is. I can also suggest having a look on youtube, there are tonnes of videos to show you the ropes: https://youtu.be/B5CLtyqb57E
