This game is RIDDLED with bugs and they are no noticeable until you really play the game for a bit. Early on the game is amazing, honestly it was one of the best games i played when it came out. But there were TONS of bugs that never got fixed, they put out 2 patches and vanished. I can't recall all the issues off the top of my head but i remember one of the bigger problems was life leech didnt work with the Egyption and that became a game changer once you leveled up a lot. Without LL that hero is impossible to play (most skills revolve around LL)

I've been playing for over 10 hours and I haven't experienced any bugs. What exactly are you referring to? I play single player only so maybe this is a multiplayer issue? I did buy it on sale for $1 so that may affect my opinion a little, but it still seems enjoyable as a mindless hack/loot/build rpg.

End game was riddled with bugs last time i played, most of the skills didnt work - like life leech, mana regen, etc... Unless they patched it in the last 2 or 3 years (which i doubt since it was 2 years from release to last time i looked and there was no patch) late game high level stuff worked for crap.

So, "late game" may not be fun. That's too bad. I wonder if it is the same for each character? It seems like each char has their own quest to follow, so maybe the bugs are different for each?

Yea, i didnt have too many issues with anything that i can remember except for Egyptian. There were TONS of problems with his end game stuff. I mean i could install it and try it again though...

i have a retail box copy that i bought years ago, and there was indeed a patch that i got that fixed the majority of the issues, though the game is still not left without fault..

but that being said, that was a good 4 or 5 years ago....other than that, this game is amazing in every aspect...the art style is great, the whole mythological themes thing is great,the gameplay is fluid, its an all around good game...i highly reccomend it...hopefully this being put onto steam breathes somelife into it and i can get some multiplayer going on, since i never got to when i first bought it being that i was late to thge party...

Hey, another curious gamer here. Thank you everyone for the facts and your honest opinions about the game (and some of its bugs). Based on the price, and the number of positive comments elsewhere in this forum, I decided to go ahead and purchase the game. Fortunately, someone here has a system just like mine and the few reported crashes haven't affected him on any of the characters (Win7, GTX 560 ti). Hopefully the Egyptian is fixed but if not, there are three other characters.

Hey, I bought the retail long ago, too and it was a great game! Even in the High-End Game. Haven´t noticed huge bugs, but some small ones which I can live with. And for all new Players, it´ll cost about 2.50€. That´s really worth it ;)

Oh and Captain Electric, I have a similar system and don´t noticed any crashes.

I have a similar system as well, and I have been playing the Greek character for quite a while without issue (nothing obvious anyway). I did start the other characters to see what they were like and I did not experiece anything that seemed like a bug, but I only played for about an hour.

Hmm, the intro's don't work for me, and i'm glitching so hard, my character almost can't move, and when i tried to do the setup before u actually start the game, i get an error? Anyone else had those, because i can't find any information about it :(

I got win7 64bit version, GTX 570 and an i7-2600 CPU, my pc is only a year old or so. And ty for responding captain ;)

I got a retail copy of this game, and the problem was that whenever I got through a world, it would somehow crash and delete my save. = w= I wanted to play it, I really did, but I literally could not complete the game. This happened several times, by the way, and my computer could easily handle this game. Because of that, I just can't recommend this game to others. Decent idea, but poor execution (in my experience).

Dude, I had the same ♥♥♥♥ happen to me so often. I just stop playing the game afterwards. Not worth the time or the headache.
