L & R Button Hyper Sensitive?
Hi there,

Recently got the game. Loving it! One issue I'm having with my Gamecube controller & Mayflash adapater, however, is that if I even so much as breath on the L or R button, the game reads it as input. The sensitivity on the button is WAAAY too high. I've tried it on a few Gamecube controllers (one of which is bascially new) and have the same result.

Could be my adapter, but it works fine for Aether, Melee, and Smash in general. I wish there were a setting like in Dolphin or Aether where I could adjust the sensitivity. Anyone else have overaly sensitive L/R button issues that hey solved?

Thanks in advance,

You're not the only one. I use my Xbox One S and Xbox 360 controllers for Smash and Slap City and Slap City definitely reads the triggers way too early, if I even bump a trigger with my finger even if it feels like it wasn't pressed it triggers the shield, I've actually landed really lucky grabs by accident because I'd accidentally shield while pressing A. That and there needs to be an option to change the sensitivity for the Tap to Strike option. It's way too sensitive and everything will come out as strong attacks instead of tilts. The game was also extremely sensitive when it came to the sticks as well. I had to use XInputPlus to add a deadzone to my sticks in the game otherwise I'd constantly turn around when the stick was sitting idle or I'd let it slap back to center and turn an attack around constantly on a brand new Xbox One S controller.

Interesting. I didn't have an issue with my Xbox One controller, so I'll likely be using that instead of Gamecube (thought I'd prefer Gamecube because Melee transfers over pretty well). Hopefully developer can add this.

I went from GC with Melee, Brawl and PM to Xbox 360 with PM on Dolphin and it was a pretty seamless transition for me. Now it actually feels weird playing Smash on a GC controller for a few minutes then it goes away as I play. It's not too bad and I actually prefer the 360/One controller over the GC controller when it comes to Smash. And yeah, hopefully the devs add this, I already asked for an option to change the tilt sensitivity so I can make it more like PM
