Official Gamecube Controller Adapter for WiiU compatibility

I got the original Gamecube Controller Adapter and I seem to not be able to make it work on Slap City, the controller options do have the option to allow the adapter but it seems like it only works with the Mayflash one.

I used Zadig to configure one of my USB ports to be able to read the adapter, and it does work on Dolphin, but can't get any response from Slap City even after enabling the "Allow" option on all 3 Gamecube Controller Adapter options.

Just wondering if missing a step here or if the game is just not compatible with it.

The official adapter needs a driver program to be running in order to be recognized. The driver program can be found at

just follow the instructions on that site and the game should pick up your controllers once the driver is running

@sinxtanxdev I tried that driver program but it gets stuck installing. After restarting, it detects the controller, but doesn't read any movement or button presses.

My controller works fine with dolphin though without the 3rd party software. It's open source so can you guys see how theirs works and do that instead?

After some searching and trying I found if I put my adapter in "PC" mode and changed my controller profile

"exactControllerName":"MAYFLASH GameCube Controller Adapter"

it works now without the vjoy crap
