Slap City

Unable to use original Wii U adapter.
Hoping someone can help. Recently bought the game. Was introduced by a friend using original Wii U adapter and a gamecube controller. It's not working and I have no idea why.

Drivers are up to date as well.

Adapter is working properly in Dolphin Emulator so my computer recognizes it.

Thanks in advance!

If you have issues with your official Wii U GC adapter or Mayflash 4-Port Adapter in Wii U Mode, try
-Plugging in your adapter by only the black cable
-If you're using a Mayflash 4-Port Adapter, ensure it is set to Wii U mode before plugging it in.
-Closing all other programs such as Dolphin that take control of your adapter
-If you use Massive's GC adapter program, have the driver program open and click 'start' before launching Slap City
-Reloading all controllers/Reseting Direct Input in the Slap City Controllers Menu
-Enabling/Allowing all DInput controllers in Slap City from the Controllers Menu
-Simply restarting Slap City

If you're still having issues, try
-Updating Windows
-Running Zadig again to replace your WUP-028's driver
-Connecting your adapter via a different USB port
-Disconnecting other USB devices
-Verifying that you have not installed Mayflash's own drivers. You will not need them.

We have some controller fix text pinned in our discord, those are :

"for gamecube controllers on PC, use this thing: http://m4sv.com/page/wii-u-gcn-usb-driver "

"how to make a controller profile: https://pastebin.com/6X7s9qhS "

"if your Wii U Gamecube adapter doesn't work, unplugging the gray cable and leaving the black one plugged in can be a valid course of action "

I have the same issue, have tried the solution above and I wasn't able to get anything working with a Wii U adapter. I can get a 2 port mayflash adapter to work but the mapping was messed up. Set it up with a friends 4 port mayflash and it was plug n play. Weird stuff.

I've tried all the things listed above. I have the official wiiU adapter. The controller works fine in Dolphin, but Slap City doesn't recognize it at all. I've been searching all over, and I'm just out of ideas. Any advice?

Does Dolphin make use of Massive's adapter tool too? If not, are you sure you've got Massive's tool properly functioning? I use the original Wii U adapter too and the game immediately recognised the controller once it was enabled via Massive's tool.
Basically, you said you've tried all the things listed above, so if you could let us know exactly at which step things stop working that'd be really helpful.
