Main menu - only "Quit" button works

After the last update I open the game and it shows numbers 1 and 2, also at the upper right corner it shows "Fullscreen", "Achievements" and "Quit". Only the "Quit" button works. Anything else I click does not work. I used the verify data option on Steam properties and still the problem's the same. Did the update change the way the game works?
