How to choose presents for your daughter?

So, this has always been my personal nightmare. I have checked my current daughter's description and there is NOTHING in the part about hobby; she seems to have none. I have tried to present her absolutely every item suggested by Cube, but she did not like any. I am clueless now what to do.

Rei studies a lot, has high intelligence, affection, stamina and will (guts). She goes in for karate, dancing, singing, calligraphy, playing the piano and some other stuff. I thought that the most obvious choice would be giving her either something like a reference book or something related to music, but nope, no luck here. Then I tried sport-related items and different other book – nothing. Otaku and magic stuff – no again. I have no more options now.

Honestly, i have gotten it right ONCE, and every other time she does not like the present.
That one time i bought her a travel guide and she was happy and her only hobby was "politics" (wtf?).

I just dont care anymore, it has no negative consequences except your relationship not getting a few extra points. You can easily max out her relationship with the parent even without ever gifting her the "correct" thing.
Just gift her SOMETHING so it does not drop.

Different hobbies are -supposed- to have ideal gifts (though not necessarily intuitive ones lol), and her hobbies should be listed under her profile, but if she has no hobbies listed then I have absolutely no idea what to tell you. I never had a daugther with no hobbies listed before.

That's strange that she has no hobby listed at all. O.o Looking at the wiki, it does say that she'll have less hobbies if her flexibility is low and the study policy is strict.
