Game Tips!
Thought I'd start a game tips thread. Here's some I got so far:

-Put your daughter on the fancy/robust diet asap! Need that Stamina or she won't be able to handle literally anything. The amount of money is totally negligible.

-If you pay attention to rumors at school, cut scenes where two random kids are talking, usually they'll talk about a new movie or a new exhibit etc. If you take your daughter to see the thing that is being talked about at school then she'll get a huge drop in stress, much more than normal!

-You can put your daughter to work right away (I did the bookstore) and just take her to the hospital to "heal" her stress at the end of each week, until her stamina is high enough to handle it. The cost really isn't that bad compared to wages and such.

Wait, going to the hospital reduces stress? I just take her to the amusement park. As for gaining more stamina, you could also join the track and field club and eat hamburgers. Going for a hike at Mt Inari on the weekends is also a cheap way of reducing stress and increasing a tiny amount of stamina.

Yes! You get an internal medicine exam, and then pay for treatment. It removes a *lot* of stress all at once. I'll try the amusement park too! Right now my daughter is in the track and field club, but I hadn't been feeding her hamburgers. In PM2 you could jump her stamina with the Bird of Paradise egg via winning the cooking competition. The hikes were nice, since they reduce stress with increasing stamina, but the amount was so small I didn't notice much of a difference.

Also, if anyone has tips on getting your kid friends I'd appreciate it! I feel like I have her walk home with friends all the time when the random events trigger, I have her visit Hiroko at her house (since that's the only house I could find), she works at the bookshop with that one kid, and yet she isn't really friends with anyone... How do you deepen these friendships?
Everyone has a schedule on Sundays. You can find Kenichi at the shrine around three while in Elementary school and the electronics store first thing in the morning during middle and high school.

Oooo, thank you! That helps a lot. Do you know if there are any sites or guides with more information on their schedules? If not, maybe I'll try to reload a few times on a Sunday to make one in the Steam section...

Stamina is really easy to raise, my daughter just turned 12 and is already at almost 400 stamina.
A lot of activites and jobs raise that stat.

Sadly most of the really good endings demand like 800-900 in Charisma, Elegance and Attractivity, on top of being physical fit and a great fighter/mage.

Just got a good tip about making friends-- the wiki ( http://princessmaker.wikia.com/wiki/Princess_Maker_5_Characters#Emily_Imagawa ) has schedules for all the characters at all ages, which is really useful. But to meet them at a location you need to "Investigate" the area. If you don't Investigate, you won't see them even if they're there!

Oh, btw, does anyone know where you buy hamburgers? All I can find are sweets and they don't help Stamina at all.

You can buy hamburgers from the family restaurant. It's a blue icon, on the far right of the same map as your house.

Ah, thanks!

Maybe im playing wrong but I think a better way to handle stress is to buy medicine drinks. its cheaper than amusment parks and doctor visits once you get discounts. Doctor visits were getting to be 90-120k for me.

How do you get discounts on medicine drinks? Just by buying them a lot?
