It doesn't sound like you're doing anything wrong, it's just that it might be bugged just like it happened to me too. Just start the game again from the beginning (it won't take long getting back there anyway), and make sure you don't mess with the heartbeat suppression until after you get the prompt for it and hopefully that does the trick. When the white ring around you disappears, that's when you know it actually works properly.
As for going fullscreen, I don't quite remember how that works, but if I recall correctly, pressing either F1 or F2 (or even F1+F2) I believe will do the trick but I'll have to recheck all of this later as it's been a while since I've played this game. Either way, hope this helps!
Thanks for the reply. I'll try that. When I restarted, I just started a new game and tried again.
Alright your fix worked, thank you. So what I did was, I didn't do anything until I got to the room with the lights turning off an on. But I'm shocked to see how short it was. I part 2 longer?
Also I just went back and played around for a bit and F1+F2 is indeed for full screen. Hope you enjoy the game and have fun!
