Capturing Ships to Sell

In my game capturing ships makes no sense, you get in Tortuga less than 10% of your purchasing price. Should be at least 50%. Any comments?

i use 4 1st class ships , i dont sink any, i take them all . come back with 15 or 16 ships ,, sell every thing .. the ammo sells the best ,..some ships are carry 1500 to 2500 rounds of ammo.. .. and always sell at 4 star ports ,, get the best money there.. ps .. i have over 250 ships ,, little hint spend money on the soul eater .. 2.50 i think it was ,, its the best ship in the game..can take any port in the game with just that one ship ,, but i use 4 of them so i can have the others take the hits as i take the ships out

Sell ammo in your own port (2 gold each) not in other ports (1 gold each).

if you want do money very fast you have to capture Santa Cruz (2*), then capture 2 flute, sail them to the near port of St. Thomas (4*) (11 h trip), buy all cannon ball and chain ball, return to santa cruz and sell them...if you do so you can doubled your money because you buy at 1 gold and sell at 2 gold

You don't make much money on ships which is pretty r3tarded. Buy cannonballs and chainshot in neutral ports and sell it in your ports you'll double the money you spend. Buy for 1 sell for 2 so a flute full of ammo is making 6300 profit.

selling ships in a 4* port will earn you more money than selling the same ship in a lesser '*' port

Buy iron everytime u can, bring it to tortuga and make ammo.
Easy money

Also buy ammo when it costs 1 each and sell to tortuga for 2 each. If u keep doing it u gona get rich soon

madjoker, not only in torutga, but in every port you captured you can sell cannonballs and chainballs for 2 gold. Obviously you have to buy them in other port, that cost 1 gold

Well of course you will have many ports where you can do this. Mine was a solution explained in very easy terms, so that any newbie could just jump in the game and do this thing to get rich
