Use "Open World". Open the map (click the ompass icon or just pressing F5) and then click "Open World" and navigate your ship as desired, can be see the shipwreck; also can be founded: Treasure map, Smerald or Ruby Jewelry, including Blueprints (depending the percentage 20% - 75%).

Unless I'm mistaken wreck spawn randomly near land. Completed mine from porting and crew said "Wreckage on horizon!"

Not sure if there's 2nd-rate blueprint. I have 16-steam corvette (Le Sphinx), 30-galley (Whydah Galley), 52-frigate (USS Constitution), 3x 1st-rate (Montagne, HMS Victory, Santisima Trinidad), and Santa Ana (not sure how I get this, I think when I captured her) all at 100%, haven't get other yet (if there're more).

Yes. I have discovered these a Dreadnought 2nd Class (a half Class Victory/Trinidad) in these derelict ship if the hull equal or less than 15% and shipwrecks says as "Wreckage on Horizon" in spanish says as "Buscar en los restos" (latam) or "Buscar en el pecio" (spain) or equivalent in your language installed.

What I have noticed, when your bosun states "wreckage on the horizon," if you look around your ship; see if there is a sort of double light blue/teal colored arrow pointing in a direction. This I have noticed is almost always a wreck with a blueprint on it.

If you start in Tortuga and sail straight from where you start and then turn right around the bit of land and then sail south, you can find wrecks very reliably.

There is a high rate of wrecks near treasure islands and ports. check all of those. They re-spawn after a while in random places.
