The uncensored patch?

yes i know there is something about this already but im having a hard time downloading it, im getting an error message saying there is nothing to update, eventhough as soon as i open the patch it says the correct place in steam but still wont let me use the patch, am i missing something here? or is it just a fake patch

It works on my PC. Maybe your program files settings are preventing you to install it? I don't know. It sure is not a fake patch

It defaults to the C drive. Perhaps you have the game on an other drive than the C? Then you should manualy search for the map wihtin the unpatch program and then proceed

Like for me, I have the more demanding games (like GTA, Total war games, Planet Coaster) on my SSD C drive and the less demanding games on my E hard disk drive

its odd tho i have it in my 1 tb drive and i go to it quite a few times but nothing seems to work idk how to get in working unless i take it somewhere and have them do it, and move everything over to my 1tb drive while they are at it, its just really irritating unless i delete it and try it that way since it will install it again i think not sure

I don't understand your problem exactly, in part because there is the mix up between downloading the patch and then installing it. Also stating all the steps you followed would help.

I'm gonna state some obvious stuff here, so let's see.

To install the patch, you need to have downloaded the patch from Remtairy's Patreon (obviously), extract it (obviously) and have the game on Steam installed (obviously).
With those 3 steps completed, you simply run the patch program you extracted (it doesn't matter at all where you extracted it) and point the patch to the Meltys Quest directory path.

So, the obvious question now, are you sure you pointed the patch to the exact directory path for Meltys Quest? Basing it on my installation, I pointed the patcher to D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Meltys Quest and it didn't have any problem.
That error you say you're getting suggests that either the path isn't correct/the game isn't installed (obviously the patcher wouldn't find anything to update), the game is already uncensored (obviously the patcher wouldn't find anything to update) or, maybe, you're not getting writing priviledges for some reason?

If you are sure your game isn't uncensored and the path to your installation of Meltys Quest is correct, maybe you need to run the patch as an administrator?

ok thanks lian, but i ended up getting it, had to uninstall the game, and reinstall it then install mega, and the patch was a breeze took like 5 minutes
