Real room size requirement?

Has anyone played it in a smaller room than the 2.0 x 2.0 "requirements?"

No, but I don't think it's possible. Lot's of reaching out to door handles, bending over to pick up clues, etc. I guess saying it's not 'possible' might be stretching it, but it would be very challenging and frustrating to say the least.

If it has rotation, it can work in 2.0 x 1.5 room (the vive roomscale minimum). Does the game have player rotation?

There are several options to accommodate that. You have several ways to move without physically moving and there is an option to increase controller reach, so you don't have to crouch etc. And yes, you can also rotate using the controller.

I have more room, so I can't speak from experience, but I think you can play this seated or standing without issue.

i play this game in 2.3 x 1.6, with the Vive, it is best if you have 2.0 x 2.0 room scale, but i dont. you do get given the option to play "anchored" which i find best, there is a lot of reaching out for clues/ door handles and so on, but i find if i make the character walk right upto where i need to reach out to then all i need to do is then reach below me.

Thanks, good to know! The Dev's ought to correct the room size requirements listed on the store page because they are eliminating 35% of the market!

I play the game sitting on my bed, so it's definitely possible to play in a smaller area using the game options.
