Survival Stuttering
It will start after around 10 minutes, even if i just spawn into the gamemode and don't move at all. I found a post with a similar issue --->

https://steamcommunity.com/app/722180/discussions/0/5208960061391850536/

I have the same Setup/Settings they do 100% resolution on Quest 2 running 72hz and the oculus link with a 3.1 usb-c to c cable but i use High graphic setting. It does not happen in Story only in Survival and no players are joining or leaving my game i'm in Private with a password.

Zotac 1080
i7-8700k
32GB RAM 3200 mhz

Nothing is overclocked and my temps stay stable. If i stay on the streets it will slowly degrade until it crashes but if i enter ANY interior/store it will instantly start stuttering heavily and crash.

I would try updating all the software. OS, GPU, Windows, etc. It sounds like software or temps, and you already checked the temps - so .... software. Also, I recommend reducing your amount of RAM - unless you are using (2) 16gb chips in dual channel.

Gave it a shot with an Oculus Rift S and it ran smooth the entire time so seems like the issue could be with the link cable or the Quest 2 itself.

Are you launching the game on Steam VR or straight from the oculus library on the headset i found steam VR to be very laggy and best to bypass that

I have heard others say that the way you launch the game can affect the performance.

Yeah it saves like 20-40% gpu no joke

How would that translate to the HTC Vive? Should I open it through the Steam App? Should I start VR, and then select it using the headset from the home game menu?

im only familiar with quest 2 sorry, when you activate the link there is a library inside that lets you just launch the app from desktop and my headset automatically detects it and launched in my device, if you open Steam VR and press play inside that the game takes alot more of a load from your PC running steam VR + the game

I don't think you can run any app on Vive without running Steam VR, but maybe. Could you please hire a team of investigators to research it, and let me know what their report shows? The FBI or similar agency might be the way to go - but I will leave that up to you.
