To be fair about the message of the game (spoiler about the ending)
At one point the protagonist realizes she used her powers wrong and that she should use it to encourage people instead. Which is a fairer message than what I initially though, as it criticize the people who use bullying/cancel tactics.

Not saying the game has no issue, but I think the best way not to be categorized as "extremists" and have critics heard is to be precise and just.

fair, but throughout the game you get positive story outcomes for using said powers. It seems a bit strange, like when Sai uses gaslighting and all the characters says it's bad but both the narrative and gameplay outcomes are positive. I'm trying to play the game as a normal sane chill Pax and I get punished for it, if I play her unhinged I get rewarded and somehow the conclusion will be that it was the bad way all along?

Yes, I agree that the game is clumsy in his message. And it still feels like propaganda (the settings for starter). I should watch a complete walkthrough first.

The end of the game feels INCREDIBLY rushed. It's like you can feel them running out of money as it barrels to the close.

By the time Pax has her "character arc" moment, it feels completely out of nowhere.

Speaking about things coming out of nowhere, Pax's last enemy is some evil entity that was shown only once or twice in some visions/flashbacks. And apparently this entity represents facts?

DId you rush the convo? if you wait till the end of the conversation you get the calming choice. Just like in real life, you have to hear people out. I played Chill pax, only used my powers against enemies except for once and i apologized to theo for it. By the end every had found their peace. Noam was going back home, Sai was staying to fight. Girl Pax biker guy and sister were going to Nova Scotia.

I played the game blind and I couldn't relate the games message to my real life in any fashion. I don't see the propaganda. I see an episode of Sliders. You may need to look up that show to get what i mean.

All great stories start with a broken hero. The Hero's Journey doesn't start with Good guy ends up being good guy. Pax was a butt head ends up being a big sister finally.

Facts and logic are the modern lefts greatest enemy after all, and they rarely are exposed to them, so it is fitting.

And to get to that point one needs to suffer around 13-15 hours of woke brainwashing. Terrific.

I couldn't hang with all of that nonsense. It starts to get really JRPG by that point and I hate that part of JRPGs. I certainly wasn't going to give it my full attention in THIS game.

But, no. He didn't represent facts.

If you are talking about the show from the 90s I do get what you mean, in the pilot episode they are transferred in a world in which the nazis won the war.
About my remark about propaganda : It's because of the timing and the parallels between the game and our world : Just before the US election. I'm by no mean a trump supporter, but it feels a bit forced. And even if the message at the end of the game is positive, the general tone of the game (an authoritarian regime trying to silence minorities) is not representative of what is happening in the west in general, but is representative of how certain extreme groups want to present the west.

But I genuinely doesn't want the game to be bashed for something it is not. This game is just not for me. But if some people enjoy it and adhere to the positive message at the end of it, that's fine by me.
I really think most of us (from every spectrum/race/gender/sex etc) are tired of all of these fights. I just want to enjoy movies, series and games without being constantly reminded of the real culture war, and without them being worst for it (I'm not talking about Dustborn, as it is the theme of the game, a I said, this game is just not for me).

*Communists. There were no references to Nazis in Sliders at all.
