They are so scared to step out of their echo chamber that they whine and cry while claiming they allow criticise and want a conversation but keep it locked to only people who agree with them... Their community is roughly 100 people, have fun living in that chamber with this small group that will never, NEVER be able to make up losses that would have been if they were not fully funded by the same people who funded research to find out if white paint is racist. Your game is that level of stupidity, that you need to be funded by people studying how racist white paint is and likely inhaled the fumes too long because they decided to fund the game.

Having seen some of the gameplay and how utterly disgusting it is this "game" should have a mature rating, teens shouldn't be playing it, adults shouldn't be playing it, hell nobody should be playing it.
It's one thing where you have a, lets say a GTA type game, where you have the freedom to do horrible thing to people but that's not really the goal or it just has that freedom to play like a psycho. This game makes you be a psycho, the people who made this need to see a shrink.

I can see how they made a game such as this. Their developers are essentially all Resetera posters who need a safe space in their echo chamber.

I think on some level the director is aware that this shouldn't have been a game. Given that the framing device for the story is an indie comic book and the mechanics are so unbelievably bad, it seems like what he really wanted was to make this an indie comic book but only had the infrastructure for a video game.
