Big fan of the Longest Hourney and Dreamfall
Title says it all. Happy to see Red Thread are still in operation after Draugr was so poorly received. What should I expect in their new game? Any chance there are references or hints of TLJ Home in this?

Not really, Dustborn is its own IP. You'll see a lot of similarities in the writing and game feel since it's the same developers but that's about it.

But also (take this with a grain of salt) there's this "The Broadcast/The Noise" thing that's awful similar to The Collapse

So this isn't a heartfelt journey about a likable refamle character using wits to bring people together?

It's like if you start with Dark Urge in Baldur's Gate 3 or the MC in Disco Elysium. Pax is very unlikable and kind of a sociopath. You can continue being like that or make a positive change throughout the story. I like that more than just being a stoic blank of morality in most games.

So are there any likable characters in the cast that the protag walks around with like Crow?

Bro none of the same people who made The Longest Journey even work at the studio anymore. TLJ was an actual good game with a likeable lead character. Majority of the characters in Dustborn are miserable.
