How much money is the western media prepared to lose chasing an audience that does not exist?

Putting aside your view on politics, religion, and everything else.

Standing back objectively, rather than letting your emotions run rampant that someone has dared challenged your world view.

Companies make games to make a profit. If they don't make a profit, no games get made.

It's inconceivable as a long term business strategy to keep pumping money into projects that exclude the vast majority of the paying customer, to focus on some nebulous 'modern audience' that simply does not exist outside of the minds of a bunch of middle class hyper left wing clique.

Regardless of your feelings on such issues, the objectively reality is this alleged modern progressive audience simply does not exist in the real world.

Now, you can get mad at that, but that is a you problem, not a me problem.

I just think it's a crying shame that all this money and talent is going to trying to appease an audience that simply does not exist. We could ALL be playing great games instead.

Telling folks to not buy a game because it's not for them is the very opposite of being inclusive. Calling people haters and bigots, is the very opposite of tolerance and progressiveness. It's puerile and hostile to most of the population.

Again, you can argue otherwise, but the fact remains one look at the sales for such projects, paints a different story.

Your feelings aren't that important. You are not that important. You cannot alienate the vast majority of the paying audience and expect financial success.

But don't let me stop you. I just find you simple minded if you try.

They will keep forcing it down your throat until you accept it, or they make it illegal to mock it. The people that produce this kind of slop are sterile in every possible meaning of the word. They produce nothing, they create nothing, all they can do is corrupt and destroy.
