Stuck on loading screen

when I launch skybox VR I see the initial loading screen in VR (skybox name and logo with a white line under it) but that's it, nothing else ever happens, I've waited for a while. i'm on a rift S, and my oculus software and steam VR and nvidia graphics drivers are all up to date. a few months ago this used to get past that loading screen and skybox worked just fine, i'm not sure why it doesn't now.

I've also tried reinstalling steam and skybox VR but it didn't change anything.

There's actually an error message : "missing executable" ... Verifying integrity of files (through Steam) does not solve the problem. SKYBOX.exe seems to be present, though.

I've just tried this application for the first time and it's also stuck on the loading screen.

Please check if you have the file **vcruntime140.dll** in your PC.
If you don't, please download the file from Microsoft website:

The file is needed for SKYBOX to function properly.

I also already had Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable installed.

I found a solution:

1. Go to apps management and uninstall any VC redistributions from 2015 forward.
   
2. For Intel, download both x86 and x64 installers of this 2015-2019 VC redistribution.
   https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads
   
3. Install both x86 and x64.

Приложение так и не запустилось на самом старте.. висит Стартовый экран с логотипом и дальше не идет. Удалил предыдущие версии С++ , поставил последние и ничего не произошло. Помогите
