Does this Steam version run okay on Windows 7?
I have this game on CD, and when I install it on Windows 7 x64 with an AMD HD 7870 video card, it freezes up frequently (particularly during cut scenes). Sometimes for a few seconds, sometimes for a good deal longer.

Does the Steam version run better on Windows 7, or will I have the same problems if I get this one?

I have Windows 7 x86 and I had no problems running the Steam version, however I cannot confirm if the retail and Steam versions are one and the same.

Well that's encouraging. Hopefully it would also not have any problems with x64.

Now another thing about my old CD based version is that the cut scenes are very pixilated (or aliased). Has this been cleaned up in the Steam version?

I did not encounter any horrid pixelated cutscenes. Sounds like the game might be running at a very low resolution and overstretched for full screen. Again, the game is over a decade old, so it's difficult to say because the CGI cutscenes were not high definition either, by today's standards at least. Most likely not even for its time.

Doesn't work correctly for me. Probably due to a Geforce driver update (it was released in january 2015), just to let people know it messes the game.

You'll have black screen and graphic glitch, won't be able to acess the menu, etc.

I haven't found a solution so far, If anyone knows...

This is correct. I have already reported that to Nvidia. Would be cool if you do the same. I still have the one from December 23, 2014. This one works.

Yeah I will report it !

I tried to roll back as mentionned on the official Geforce forum and it worked.

For anyone wondering you have to dl this driver (Geforce 347.09 WQHL) :

http://www.nvidia.fr/download/driverResults.aspx/80946/fr

The link is in french but you won't have trouble finding it in your language. And yes, I tried launching both games and they immediatly work.
