But this is like saying you dont need any doors since I can just open up the wall when I as a DM need it. The point of making a secret passage, since it loads of them in real life and also in game. That I dont need to edit the map when Im DM, Same as trapdoors, dont need them since i can on the fly edit the floor.
Not all of the door assets fit nicely inside the bounds of a wall, though. In the case of a slightly larger door that was visible through the top of the wall piece, I lowered it down slightly and that seems okay.
So, now, if a player finds the secret door, I just hit B to enter build mode, delete the overlapping wall piece to reveal the door, then hit B again to exit build mode. Once the door is opened, I can just reveal the hidden bit in the hide block.
