If you want to use the minis others made you have to go to the ingame mod browser (by clicking on the little globe icon in the lower middle of the screen and then chosing the creature tab there) and download it from there with just two clicks directly into your game. No need to download any files manually.

*edit : i have enabled mods and clicked the globe and i see nothing under any tab, and definitely nothing under the creatures tab
i don't see anything i've enabled all mod and done the tutorial the devs posted in march and i still can't see anything. that's why i've tried to do the manual install but literally nothing seems to work for me. wonder whats going on here....?:bananas:

edit: i've tried it with accept all and manually accept mods but nothing happens either way. tried it with dev mod on and off and mod.io logged in and logged off as well

Okay that sounds like a similar issue someone on the Discord reported. If it is the same the devs are looking into to it for sure and it is seemingly a very rare thing to happen since you are only the second person I've seen to describe this so far.

Just to make sure though: You do not have any unsupported mods from Thunderstore installed? Even if deactivated if there are files of unsupported mods in the Talespire directory they can make problems so if you had any at some point make sure you try a clean vanilla installation.

If that is not the case it is best to send a bug report over the official feedback page and they will help as soon as they can.

Good luck. Might take a bit until it is fixed but I know they are on it already.

Hey! We've just pushed a small patch that fixes some stuff in our error logging which should now bring us better info on what the root cause of this bug is. As Gajia said, there is already a bug report open for this (here's the link to it: https://feedback.talespire.com/p/none-of-my-mod-repositories-are-populating ). Once you downloaded that update, could you run the game, try to load the ingame mod browser and then send us your Player.log file on the bug ticket I linked before?
You can find how to get to your log here: https://feedback.talespire.com/kb/article/how-to-find-talespire-error-logs
If you're unsure whether you got the update already, you can check by going to the game settings then see if the "Build ID" in the bottom right says "7fc7928e"

i stopped using mods because of this too. i suggest stop using mods for now and get all creatures from the official repository.
