as for seeing the grid, the GM has access to a GM view that outlines the grid a bit more clearly + if you want to keep playing restricted to the grid, you can toggle an (experimental) mode for forcing minis on grid squares (or move them with wasd controls which moves them only on the grid)
Seems good. I saw the GM outline just now but I thought that the players should also be able to see the grid because of their turn. Also saw something in the FAQ about pathfinding and the player seeing the distance they can reach outlined.
It is cool that this is toggleable though, makes it better for exploring dungeons without squared lines. Also, are you on their team or you're just a beta tester? Thx for answering
best place to get stuff like that player grid view request seen is on the #feature-request channel in the discord (the devs, as well as the rest of the community are most active there), though I believe a dedicated grid view/toggle has been requested before.
regarding the pathfinding stuff, that was probably some info from the early Alpha, the "pathfinding" from back then doesn't exist anymore, though it might come back in the (probably further away) future. (it wasn't very robust in many edge cases and didn't work in the new beta version so it didn't get preserved from back then - right now you'd use the rulers to find out how far you'll be able to move.
