World building/campaign setup
Will there be a way from me to create my campaign via info folders. Will there be a way for me to create notes for rooms. Will there be any trap tiles (OMG PLEASE...even if in a set later for sale!!!). Will there be a way to add sound to specific parts of a room/scene? Like a water fall etc.
Will there be a way to use a server host say amazon etc to house my world so it is always up? Will there be a max amount of party members? Will there be a way to import rule books via d and d Beyond or some storefront?

Read the FAQ and looked at the discord...sry for some many questions. This could truly change the face of VTTs forever!!!!!!

Thanks so very much for making it, cannot wait to support it!!!!

Hey,
GM notes have been requested before and has been noted as a thing that they want to handle go here and search GM notes[bouncyrock.com].
A few basic trap tiles have been added already from what I can recall. Some spike traps and a crossbow trap I believe.
Unsure in regards to the AoE sounds to be honest. Might be worth dropping into the Discord and requesting there.
Currently the servers/games/worlds are hosted by BouncyRock and to the best of my knowledge, have had close enough to 100% uptime. They plan in the future to do P2P I believe, but that is later down the line.
I can't recall the max players in a campaign but I believe they are aiming for 16. I personally have hit 7.
They plan to have a way to create rules of your own, and I think start with a basic 5e rule set. But this will be after Early Access. I personally imagine that with Rule sets in time they will add the ability to share them to people so you don't have to make them all yourself.

Will there be a way to access character sheets and the like in game? I am new to all this, and you guys seem to know a lot more than me. Thanks for your time!

Q: Any plans for character sheets? A: TaleSpire will definitely need something to handle that kind of information, but we haven't decided on what kind of presentation it will have yet or precisely what it will cover.

This is a really minor thing. but there are some common obj I wish where in the props section. Mirrors (dont relly care if it reflects it can be dirty, whatever but there isnt anything close.) the rugs you have for merchants are cool but there is no sigle rug that you can put on a floor. only the stack and the ones that go on walls. charis/ stools by themselves without tables. most of these are minor but i was trying to build a campiegn around this magic mirror and there wasnt anything like that in the game. I ended up putting a tombstone in a fancy house but its not the same.

Thank you, but I was kind of curious if the devs had some idea of maybe having access in game to, say, the internet so you can just use outside clients, such as D&DBeyond or SAVAGED.US or pdfs of books or a myriad of content. It seems easier than coding for each system and versatile, although coding for each system would be amazing! I play Savage Worlds, so I wouldn't be on the short list of games to integrate, so that would make me sad...

Hey,

If you want to make asset suggestions, then The Github[github.com] is the place for it :)
I do like the mirror idea

Foundry VTT allows the community to code their own systems (https://foundryvtt.com/packages/systems) which is the most logical solution to this problem.

Hey,

I mean, there are plans for TaleSpire to have a rule system. Which is then moddable/scriptable/whatever, so they can give the community the tools to make anything from 5e to PF to WoD and so on.
But that is a stretch away and we have no idea how it will actually function.
