Snapping to Grid
I was wondering if there is any way to make props and tiles not snap to the grid? I would like to place items in/on certain items but they end up being halfway off the item in question or in a completely different spot, because they snap to be in the center of the grid square they are placed. Is there any way to set items to not snap?

Plus one to this. Any way we can get them to not snap to grid?

yes, in build mode there is an icon that allows clipping, when holding shift while placing the object. So hold shift, move your object, and click to place. Hope the make this a simpler feature in the future, like toggle with "C". But for now look for the triangle with the exclamation mark next to to the builder's flashlight.

Hey, as judasangel said clipping is a option. But besides that no. Props are planned to have their own grid in the future but that is not a thing now. Tiles are not going fully free however.

The allow clipping option only lets you use grids that are already occupied. An actual free-place option would be amazing and surely something they will add in future.

Not sure if anyone else uses Dungeon painter Studio but like nightmare was suggesting is used in that where pieces aren't reliant on the grid and can be free placed. It's a toggled feature, hope they can add something like it in the future as well.

But why do you look for the exclamation mark next to the builder's flashlight?

If they had just started out with a Free Placement Function we wouldn't be having this issue in the first place.
