I can certainly see the appeal of the other groups though.
I liked sword gameplay, but this honestly made me a little mad.
Axes are generally fine. Daggers play much like swords but with a more awkward effective range. Thrown-items 'can' be stupidly powerful but require a specific armor set (which I don't much like the look of) to get there along with a bit of farming for the best throw-ables which is more of a hassle than I generally care for, and bows aren't much worth looking at until the game is effectively over.
Sword - for close combat
Bow - for ranged combat
Axe - dropping down from enormous heights
