Welcome to the Game 1 seems to be easiest, you learn the game and go to play.
Welcome to the Game 2 seems to be complex, you have a lot of new features that makes the game too complex, to play nice, you need to learn a lot of mechanics and so on...
The best you can do is watch people playing to see which one is better to you.
I think 2 is better, but you need to pay more attantion, learn better and think smarter.
Edit: There's also a new mechanic where you have to constantly hack into different wifi in order to have a faster time surfing the web and most importantly prevent the FBI from arresting you and time is very valuable in this game which imo adds more layers to the constant threats. There's also packages you can buy that can be used to aid you at the cost of forcing you to confront threats head on where as in the first game, you stay inside your house the entire game. In 2, you venture out of your room constantly where threats can be waiting for you. It's very tense but fun!
You're absolutely right about the mechanics of the first game that can become boring once you mastered it. Said that i ll also buy welcome to the game 2, it seems better than its predecessor in every aspects.
I have no longer any doubt
Thanks
You won't regret it but have patience as the game is tough but fun! I'm still doing research on the game myself but go back and play 1 eventually. It's still a good game.
