I found solution for resolution issue

1) open game folder (in steam show local files)
2) enter "resources" subfolder
3) there is settings.cfg and savedsettings.cfg, try second one
4) you will find there lines like:

#fullscreen 1
#width 1280
#height 720

replace that with:
fullscreen 1
width 1280
height 720

(you can use bigger resolution but try with low one for a test)
5) start the game, everything is visible now
