or some absolute beast of a mad-lad creates this theoretical port of the WMR drivers and actively supports it across OS's
In theory, you could dual boot your OS and have Windows 10 as your Dual Boot or Windows 7 and run your VR system perfectly fine (Apparently)
Do ALL 5...
Note
Preventing the automatic download of updates will not affect your ability to receive updates in the future. You can still manually download and install them on your own time. (Even if you do want them it can be a good idea to wait until they have been verified to not break stuff or reduce your performance)
And
Disabling the automated install of feature updates does not stop you from installing security updates ect. It only stops your Windows 11 from updating to 24H2 by it self.
The Microsoft website, they now only provide the ISO and USB for version 24H2, they no longer provide a download for version 23H2.

To revert back to Windows 11 23H2 from 24H2, you can use the Go Back option in Settings:
1. Open Settings by pressing Win + I
2. Navigate to System then Recovery
3. Click the Go Back button under Recovery options
4. Follow the on-screen instructions
If the Go Back option is grayed out, you might not be able to roll back because it's been more than 10 days since the upgrade. In this case, you can try these steps to manually roll back Windows updates:
1. Shut down the OS by holding down the power button for 10 seconds
2. Repeat steps 1 and 2 two more times
3. Windows will automatically launch its Recovery Environment
4. Click Troubleshoot
5. Click Advanced options
6. Click Uninstall updates
7. Click Uninstall latest feature update
8. Click Uninstall feature update
9. Wait for the process to finish
