Bluescreen when using SteamVR HP reverb G1
When I am launcing the steamVR my vr headset starts bluescreeing after a couple of minutes. Sometimes it even makes my keyboard and mouse stop working. I have tried to fix it by following multiple guides on how to fix the problem but nothing seems to fix it.

Did you set the render resolution to suit the video card you are using? I have a 3080rtx and its at 100% (2080rtx ran at 50% btw). Also turn off game mode in windows. If you have an amd newer system you also may need to set the pci to 3 instead of 4 or auto in the bios. There was also a problem with the first gen usb plugs on the g-2 and amd systems connecting. The newer control boxes have a switch so you can tell the difference. Hope this stuff wasnt too basic. :health: OOPs sorry missed that it was a g-1, but maybe this will help anyway...
(Latest bios update fixed the pci lane problem)

My WMR would bluescreen randomly since I got it years ago usually several times a day with various apps/games. I could NEVER finish the tutorial section of SURV1V3 without it happening. This is what fixed it for me.

- Go to Windows Settings, System, Display, Graphics Settings
- Turn OFF "Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling"

I play many hours a day in VR and since this change I've not had another bluescreen yet, finished SURV1V3 (playing 11 hours straight one of the sessions), and it's been well over a month now. Hopefully it helps your problem as well.
