Headset screen goes black randomly (FIXED)

so ive had this problem for a couple of days, where when turning, standing still, or really doing anything the screen just goes black and the green light in the headset turns on. (i have samsung hmd odyssey+) or it replaces that with screen going pink/blue and then shutting down all vr applications except wmr



Guide: so i fixed it really fast, my smooth brain decided to post it before i fixed it.
step 1 launch wmr app
step 2 go to settings in the "see more" section
step 3 go down until you see input switching, and change it to manually switch with windows+y
and you are done.

the only inconvinence i had was on start-up where it said "put on your headset" to get past that just press windows+y

I´ve had that happen too, and it´s either a hard SteamVR crash (sometimes?) or in my case I am fairly sure it's because the cable unplugs itself. Some people use extension cables and tape their connectors to prevent that issue.

i think what caused it was my smooth brain and my small head

My settings are already set to "manually switch with windows+y" and I still have SteamVR go to black screen in my headset
