Xbox Gamepad only support

I'm not able to bring up the steam menu in Steam Home or the Steam VR empty room using just an XBOX Gamepad, is there a way to do this with MR+SteamVR?

I was trying my Dell MR headset with SteamVR (beta) and the WMR (beta). Things worked great when launching the game from the steam library on desktop, I played EVE Valkarie for a bit, clarity is better than the Vive. Steam home and Steam VR, I wasn't able to bring up the steam menu to launch games like I can with the Vive. With Steam Home it wants me to press a button on the motion controller to start. With SteamVR bootloader, there is no button that will bring up the steam menu as the xbox button puts me back in cliff house.

Is there a setting or something I can use to enable or change this?

(Note: I can't use the motion controllers yet because I didn't realized I needed bluetooth, awaiting for that adapter to arive here shortly)

I bought a cheap adapter.. IOGear? It was $10. It was the only one available with Amazon Prime Now in order to get it in the morning. :-) So far it works great.

i use bluetooth without adapater
my Xbox Gamepad is v3 so it's can connect on windows 10 's bluetooth

For me, pressing select brings up the OpenVR Advanced Settings (have you tried installing them?).

but now it's fix if you have a xbox one controller when you press start the menu should display (wait some time )

I'm having the same issue. Holding 'back' brings up the dashboard. Holding 'Y' brings up a tutorial and says to click next with the trigger but that doesn't work. The trigger moves me and the popup stays the same. I'm assuming I have to get through this tutorial to get to the menu but that's not working. Are there any keyboard shortcuts for steamvr maybe?
All I really wanted to do was change the enviroment to one of the ones I've got from the workshop and through the dashboard I can get to the VR settings and see them but clicking on them doesn't change anything. At least my games work!
